Katz Gallery provided a venue for artists who produce quality work and have difficulties in getting their work accepted by the mainstream galleries.

Whether it was painting, drawing, photography, graphic art, sculpture or craft and fits the criteria of dynamic, different and distinctive, the gallery was interested.

While concentrating on art that fits the 3 D’s, any other art that is of high quality, well executed and presented was considered.

Katz Gallery? Having a great love for cats of all shapes, sizes and descriptions, it seemed logical for the gallery to be called Katz Gallery. The gallery was dedicated to two very much loved cats - Persia and Siam.
There was one wall ‘Katzone’ which was set aside permanently and exclusively for cats.
